Walking the Road to Resilience: Nature Can Help You Heal!

Making Nature Prescriptive

H.E.R.O. Nurturing Center continues to lead the movement to make nature prescriptive.
Senate Bill S.791 - The HERO Nature Prescription Act advanced through committee review and contributed to important legislative study and dialogue on integrating nature-based health interventions into care systems across Massachusetts.
While the bill has been placed into further study for this session, the work is far from over. While the committee, reviews the findings, this moment represents progress, growing awareness, strengthened partnerships, and deeper policy exploration that positions this initiative for continued advancement.
H.E.R.O. remains committed to ensuring that access to healing green space becomes a recognized and supported part of healthcare, especially in communities historically underserved by environmental and health investments.
What You Can Do Now
* Learn about the bill and its impact: https://malegislature.gov/Bills/194/S791
* Stay engaged as we prepare next steps and future filings
* Support the movement by sharing, partnering, and participating in upcoming initiatives
Together we are building a future where nature is recognized as essential care, not optional access.
